Join our guided walk to the viewpoint, Sengjaberget, to get a great view of this beautiful fjord village and to learn about how people have lived and worked in Skjolden and the surrounding area.
Skjolden is situated in a very unique spot. We are at the very end of the world’s longest fjord, deep in the heart of Norway. We are also at the foot of the highest mountains of Northern Europe, the Jotunheimen (Home of the Giants). Our neighbor on the west side is the mighty Jostedalsbreen glacier, the biggest glacier on the mainland of Europe. While walking to the viewpoint, Sengjaberget, you will learn about how people lived and worked in this rough landscape.
